The photos of the project's work belong to Start with a Smile Project, all rights reserved. They show real children and families, so they can't be used for anything else without permission. If you're a journalist or a partner project, write to us to request them. We appreciate the credit “Photo: Start with a Smile Project” next to each image.

Who owns the photos on this site?

The photos of the project's work (the schools of Las Delicias del Jobo, the Christmas delivery and the donations that arrive in Antigua) belong to Start with a Smile Project (Proyecto Sonrisas), all rights reserved. That is almost every photo on this site.

Can I use Start with a Smile Project's photos?

Not without permission. The photos show real children and families, and protecting their image is part of treating them with dignity. That's why they can't be downloaded or used for anything else, such as posts, ads, fundraisers, presentations or stock photo sites, without the project's permission.
